Jing Shan Park

When the Forbidden City was built in the early Ming Dynasty, the earth excavated to make the moat piled up to form a hill north of the Forbidden City. It is the Jing Shan Park today.

On top of the hill, you can have a aerial view of the Forbidden City and the whole city. This photo shows the Six Western Palaces of the Forbidden City.
