Great Wall - the Ju Yong Pass

The Ju Yong Pass belonged to the nation Yan during the Spring-Autumn and Warring-State Periods (770-221 B.C.).

It was later connected to the Great Wall in the Southern-Northern Dynasty (420-589 A.D.). Since then, it had always been an important military strategic site in the Tang (618-907 A.D.), Liao (947-1115 A.D.), Jin (1116-1234 A.D.) and Yuan (1271-1368 A.D.) dynasties.
